Naked Derby's art sh!t....

Here is the full reveal of my submission for the Bad Robot: JJ Abrams art show taking place on April 26th at Gallery 1988 West, 7308 Melrose Ave (west of LaBrea) in Los Angeles. I’ve never been a huge Star Trek fan, but Abrams’ re-imagining of the Trek universe was so freakin’ god, how could anyone exist?

My initial inspiration was to portray the current cast in the style of the animated Star Trek series from the early 1970’s, produced by American animation studio, Filmation. It evolved from there, and here you have it! Hope you dig!
