Anonymous asked: Hey Scott, will the blues brothers poster be available anywhere online?
Thanks for touching base! Not sure yet. I was out of town when the event happened, and not sure what is left over. I’ll most likely take them with me to my next comic-con (in two weeks) and sell some there first, then add them to my ETSY page: http://www.etsy.com/shop/SDerbyIllustration
Thanks again for getting in touch! I’ll let you know once I find out what is left…
This is what I came up with for the upcoming screening of the John Landis classic, “The Blues Brothers”, taking place this Friday, May 17th at the historic Colonial Theater in Phoenixville, PA. Although I will NOT be in attendance, my poster will be available for sale at the theater. If you’re in the area, you really shouldn’t miss the chance to check this film out on the big screen…

Here is the full reveal of my submission for the Bad Robot: JJ Abrams art show taking place on April 26th at Gallery 1988 West, 7308 Melrose Ave (west of LaBrea) in Los Angeles. I’ve never been a huge Star Trek fan, but Abrams’ re-imagining of the Trek universe was so freakin’ god, how could anyone exist?
My initial inspiration was to portray the current cast in the style of the animated Star Trek series from the early 1970’s, produced by American animation studio, Filmation. It evolved from there, and here you have it! Hope you dig!

Done by good friend and awesome artist Dave “Montygog” Perillo
Artist Dave Perillo has created this playful fictional travel poster advertising the Tangiers Casino from Scorsese’s film, “Casino.”
This limited edition, signed and numbered screen print will be available first to attendees at this weekend’s show in NYC, with any remaining copies available online after!
Join us this Friday night in New York City for the opening reception/party, learn more about the event here.
A small teaser for a piece that I did for the upcoming “Mint Condition: 2nd Annual Comic Book Inspired art show” taking place at LTD Gallery in Seattle, March 1st, same weekend as Emerald City Comic-Con: http://www.ltdartgallery.com/
Can you guess what my inspiration is? More to be reveled later…
